Other Recommendations:

Staying in NOLA can be expensive, but if you go with a group of 5 or more people, you can offset these costs easily by finding an affordable airbnb. When we went, we were in a group of 7 and stayed in a gorgeous flat in uptown for $85 total, not a bad price of you ask me! The ride in the street car from our place to The Quarter and Bourbon was about an hour, but a 3-day pass was only $4 and the site seeing on the street car is unforgettable. If you plan your finances accordingly, NOLA is more than doable and a must see for anyone looking to have a good time!
