Seize the Opportunity: Travel with Locals

Whenever presented with the chance to travel with someone native - say yes. It is almost priceless to travel with a local over doing it yourself - you save time, money, and find the hidden gems of any area. You have an easy way to get around and your guide acts as a catalyst to adapt to the authentic lifestyle of the region.

They will show you the best food, most beautiful places, and know all the tricks - just like you would in your hometown. I just finished planning the rest of my trips for 2017.

In England, Scotland, Ireland, and Thailand I will be staying with students or families who reside their regularly. In the Czech Republic, Spain, and the Netherlands I have opted to stay in Airbnbs and sought out help from people who have lived in those locations for advice.

In Morocco, we will be touring with local Berbers for half of the days we are there. I feel confident, less anxious, and prepared for these journey because of these locals and friends around the world.
