Prague was somewhere I had never considered going, that is - until I arrived in Europe. Everyone there could not stop boosting about how wonderful their time in the Czech Republic’s capital was. We decided to go for it. We booked our tickets, got an Airbnb a little outside the city center, and were ready to try everything possible. We had a stellar array of food - spiced apple cider and the famous Chimney Cones were among my favorites. Other local specialties we tried were the dumplings, meat platters, absinthe, and hot red wine. Beyond the foodie aspects, it was architecturally stunning. We opted for a bike tour with a local guide originally from the Western United States - a little slice of home! The views were well worth the tough trails and my (almost off the cliff) fall. Prague is a place to put on your European bucket list for sure.
