I spontaneously bought an earlier flight to Ireland, determined to fit in as much as possible. I was shocked to discover that you can visit three coasts in five days - and that’s with two days exploring Dublin included! I flew into Dublin, and got right on the bus to County Cork. I met up with my friend Jessie there, a crazy Irish girl I was lucky enough to meet last summer. She’s absolutely insane, but the sweetest bundle of joy in all of southern Ireland. After exploring County Cork, I was headed back to Dublin. I stayed at University College Dublin for one night, then moved to Trinity College for the rest of my time there. Both colleges were gorgeous, with dorms rooms larger than I had ever seen in America. On Saturday we managed, after a bit of chaos, to rent a car and drive to the Cliffs of Moher. Shockingly enough, most of the Irish people I met had never been. There, we met up with our long-lost friend Denise who lives in County Clare. She showed us some other local spots, and we ended the night with a small dinner. After five days we headed home, but not without missing our train - knew we should have spent another night in Ireland!
