Add Scotland to the Bucket List

Beyond hearing about it from my childhood friend, the most passionate fan of Scottish culture and history you will ever meet, I did not know much. Honestly, I gave the country little thought when day-dreaming about my trips this year. But after three of my close friends ended up studying there, it was an opportunity I could not miss. Moments from the airport, it was clear that Edinburgh was going to one of the most beautiful cities I had ever seen. As a lifelong Harry Pottery fan, I was blown away with the amount of connections the book had to Scotland - and as always, impressed by J.K. Rowling’s story. The trip was short, but relaxing. The funniest aspect of the trip was when we found the best Chinese Buffet (I am a regular at these restaurants.) in the middle of Scotland - unexpected of course. I hope Boston catches up their Asian cuisine soon.
